As much as we may wish otherwise, cancer may ultimately take the life of someone we know and care about. We sympathise with you at this terrible time, and encourage you to remember your loved one in positive ways, acknowledging the joy and happiness that they brought you and your family and friends.
Many people want to acknowledge their loved one by giving a donation to a charity, particularly one which means something to them, or which helps people with cancer. These donations ensure that the important work of the National Cancer Foundation can continue, helping people currently affected by cancer, as well as educating the community, helping them avoid risk factors which may cause cancer, and make informed decisions about their lifestyle and choices.
Every donation received by the National Cancer Foundation is fully tax deductible*, and a receipt will be posted to the donor. In addition, a letter will be posted to the next of kin, acknowledging the kind donation, and listing the donors that contributed in memory of their loved one.
